A deli is the grownup's version of a toy store. All the imported cheese, cured meats, and ingredients will make you want to reign in your kitchen. This dish extends those precious meats and cheese into something the whole family can share. This pizza makes use of tortilla bread for the crust. The trick to making it crispy: Bake it in a preheated oven at high heat. It also helps to place one or two unglazed terracotta tiles directly on the floor of the oven and the prepared pizza on top of that to make the crust even more crispier.

DELI PIZZA

You will need:

1 tortilla bread

2 tablespoons prepared salsa

1/2 cup assorted cheese, grated or cubed finely
(Mozzarella, Gouda, Gruyere) and some blue cheese crumbles

100 grams of your favorite cured meats
(like salami, chorizo, and jamon serrano)

Here's how:

Spread salsa on top of the tortilla bread and apply it thinly but evenly. Sprinkle generously with cheese.

Top with preferred cured meats and bake in a preheated 450oF - oven until cheese is bubbly on top and crust is crispy - 7 to 8 minutes in a convection oven and 10 minutes in a regular oven.

Slice and serve.
