Creamy Penne Carbonara Ala Magic

I am not really a fan of malling and window shopping. I can always find a better excuse when my friends would invite me to such  but sometimes they would trick me but I would always know it but everything ends up with a treat. One day, they have done something that really lose my temper, we went back home and tried this creamy penne carbonara.  It really enliven our day and was able to enjoy the whole time preparing and savoring what we have prepared for ourselves.


You will need:

2 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoon chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped bacon

1/4 kilogram ground beef

1 8g Maggi Magic Sarap all-in-one seasoning

salt and pepper

1 250 ml. Nestle All Purpose Cream

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup green peas

300g. cooked Penne pasta

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Here's how:

1) Heat butter and olive oil. Saute' onion and garlic until limp. Add bacon and ground beef. Cook until beef changes in color or about 5 minutes. Season with Maggi Magic Sarap, salt and pepper to taste.

2) Pour in Nestle All Purpose Cream and water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add green peas and continue cooking for another minute.

3) Stir in cooked pasta and mix until pasta is fully coated with the sauce. Top with grated cheese before serving if desired.
