I know I have shared already with you from my previous posts that Filipinos love adobo. It is the commonly found viand of the rich and poor family here. When adobo is present in a meal, it is a feast already in the household. The rich flavor of adobo has reached far and wide and many other people try cooking them when they get to their own homes.

Because adobo is not easily spoiled, expect plenty of leftovers, that's why creative home cooks think of fancy makeover for these leftovers and I am sharing with you this adobo cream pasta recipe. This is specially created to bring to life the adobo leftover since the other day.

You will need:

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp chopped garlic

1 cup shredded leftover chicken or pork adobo, sauce reserved

1 cup reserved adobo sauce

1/2 cup sliced button mushrooms

1 8 grams Maggi Magic Sarap

250 ml pack all purpose cream

250 grams cooked linguine or spaghetti noodles

grated cheddar cheese or kesong puti

Here's how:

Heat butter. Saute garlic until brown. Add shredded adobo meat. Cook until desired crispiness is achieved. Reserve some cooked adobo flakes for topping. Add reserved adobo sauce into the remaining meat on the pan, adding more water if necessary. Bring to a boil. Stir-in mushroom then season with Maggi Magic Sarap. Pour in all purpose cream and simmer. Toss pasta into the prepared sauce and toss until pasta is fully incorporated with the sauce.
