Melon Cooler

Watermelon has this four essential benefits for us. And even if one never knew about this, he has already come to like the taste and goodness of watermelon. First, watermelon has Lycopene, an antioxidant found in most red-colored fruits with the exception of strawberries. And this helps lower the risk of prostate cancer and heart diseases. Second, it contains Vitamin B6 that promotes chemicals in the brain to help us cope with anxiety and panic. Third, watermelon is rich in Vitamin C to help us maintain an active immune system to fight against diseases and helps us to stay active and live younger longer. Lastly, it contains Vitamin A. Like vitamin C, it helps us to boost immunity that will help our body fight infections and diseases. Vitamin A also fights blindness.

Here's what you need:

1 300 ml condensed milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1-1/2 cups watermelon puree
2 tbsps. calamansi juice
1 tsp. salt
3 egg whites

Here's how:

Combine condensed milk and butter. Stir-in juices and salt. Chill. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into chilled juice. Put in the freezer until half-frozen. Remove from freezer and beat until smooth. Transfer into ice trays. Freeze overnight until firm.
