Slimming Down With Lemon Diet

My Weight Loss CoachImage via Wikipedia
By Annika Nickelston

Whether you are an amateur or an expert, you will find this article about dieting helpful. It seems like I can't leave the house these days without someone stopping and asking me about the lemon diet. I am always surprised by the shear quantity of questions I receive about it all. I did not think that losing weight was that big of a deal but apparently it is. Who would have known that I would be featured at this year's Dieter's convention in Vegas and go on to win an achievement award to boot. Some folks consider me somewhat of a legend in this area but I don't let my ego get the best of me.

Curiosity usually gets the best of people and many want to know about how I began. I usually sit back, smile, and send them the latest Healthy Weight Quarterly available. There's an old saying where I am from that you should read and reread Healthy Weight Quarterly a hundred times before you even try to shed pounds. In retrospect, getting involved these days is a much less intensive process than it was for me. Just to give you an idea, I had to run on a treadmill, drink Ultra Slim Fast, and even count calories before I could even think about diving in. Now everything about weight loss is readily available on the internet at your leisure so you can just log on and get acquainted.

To be honest, I think the new generation of dieters aren't as good as we were because of this. Information overload is a real threat for you newbies. You are always looking for an easy or fast way to attain greatness. The following are the three questions that seem to come up every time:

"-What is the cheapest place to buy protein shakes?

-What is the best book about calorie counting?

-What if I mess up when I'm just learning to lose weight?

And the list goes on and on."

Any weight watcher worth his salt will tell you that mastering Shedding pounds is all about being first to the finish line but it is not about being first out of the gate. You must know how to crawl before you walk, and you have to know how to walk before you can run. I remember trying to watch what I eat my first time like it was yesterday and it was not a pretty site. The good folks who got me involved in the first place immediately regretted their decision. I was simply too curious, asking too many questions, learning everything I could. Can you see how that could get annoying? My development came to a standstill early on but I had a eureka moment that changed everything for me when I began to avoid Healthy Living and O magazine and instead started focusing on weightwatchers.com which was really the key to my success. I started reading more and more about how to use a BMI indexing tool, stopped focusing on the glitz and glamour and instead turned my attention to watching what I eat with my God given tools and talents.

The improvement was so drastic and sudden that my double chin vanished and never returned. It's all about confidence and believing in yourself. Sometimes I am asked if you need to have a special gift to lose weight or if you can just pick up a book and learn about eating healthy. I always say that knowledge is only 40% of the uphill battle. The other 60 is just hard work on the part of the client. They really have to give it their all. And if you don't lose weight, remember you could have always gain it, so hold your head up high and know that you're on track to become a world class weight loser.
