Italian Pasta Recipes

Italian pasta recipes have just been introduced to the American styles of cooking as well as other international cuisines. Though pastas like spaghetti and macaroni are well-liked in western cuisine since generations, but pasta recipes with true Italian authentic taste were missing in the cuisines other than Italian.

House makers and chefs nowadays are becoming more classy about exotic Italian pasta dishes. Pasta recipes can either be easy or fancy, home made pasta can be used as well as store bought pasta. But these days, pasta dishes are not only a unfussy Italian food, they have acquired immense recognition in the cookery world.

In other countries outside Italy, boiling of pasta was also a tricky task for most of the people. When inquired about the quantity of water and salt required for boiling the pasta, very few people are present who answer accurately.



At present also, many people find it tough to answer the questions about the appropriate draining of pasta and about using the cooking oil while boiling. So I am here to assist you from the start, in the case if you are still ignorant about pasta recipes.

Four quarts of water is required to boil one pound of Italian pasta along with one tablespoon of salt, not at all add oil to the water, and the pasta must be slightly damp when drained.

Now move to Italian pasta sauces determining the finest kind of tomatoes for making sauces, diced tomatoes are well-suited not the puree. Pesto is a real Italian spiced sauce prepared with pine nuts and garlic along with tangy herbs. The range of Italian sauces is much elaborated from easy cream sauces. Had you not at all tasted sauces prepared with beans and lentils? Seafood? Poultry and meat? If not, then attempt to cook it at home and you would definitely relish it.

  1. I just love Pasta! Even when I'm on diet, I really can't and won't resist this dish. It just tastes awesome. And yes, cooking pasta is somewhat adverse but what I usually do is when I think it's done, I twist it with my fingers and see if it's already soft.
