Back to the days of my childhood, papaya was not really my type of fruit to be eaten. Even if my mother would insist, I would never pick even a slice during a fruitful meal, no wonder I still dislike it as I aged. I suppose that my disagreement with this papaya will never end until a colleague treated me on her birthday a dinner at an all-chicken restaurant. I couldn't believe that atchara on my plate would make a big difference with my chicken barbecue. The soothing taste of this pickled unripe papaya never left my tongue since then. I was completely charmed by its taste that I always fill my shelves with this pickled papaya. I will now impart to you this very simple atchara recipe so that you too can learn to appreciate its appetite-boasting taste.

If you don't use all the roasted garlic for this sandwich, store the extra in a jar, covered in oil, and use in a couple of days.

Hey there apple crisp lovers, this can be another apple crisp recipe which is rapid and quick to produce and bake. Best apples for this recipe are Granny Smith, but you may get away with some other apples that are appropriate for cooking. Another ingredient which can be adjusted to your taste is water. If you'd like your apple crisp to be a bit more moist you can add 1/2 cup of water instead of 1/4 and vice versa - if you prefer your apple crisp to be drier (we like it dry), you could eliminate the water entirely. And for the final twist for this recipe - you could add some ground pecan nuts or nutmeg into the mix.

You can widen your imagine and turn it into a reality by elevating an onion-and-chive-flavored cream cheese spread by adding tiny bits of chorizo and mushroom. Add half a teaspoon of onion powder if you prefer a stronger onion flavor. Then spread this on your favorite cracker or toasted bread.

I am inspired today to share with you this quick pasta dish. I suggest you make the sauce while the pasta boils then toss the hot noodles with the sauce and prepare for a delicious experience. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Imagine this: a cookie with three kinds of chocolate – milk, white, and dark. Irresistible? You bet! Prepare a 167-gram pack chocolate chip cookie mix (we used Pillsbury One-Step Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix) according to package directions. Mix in 1/8 cup white chocolate chips and 1/8 cup dark chocolate chunks plus ¼ cup chopped almonds. Bake at 350^oF for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 4 large cookies.

BANANA WALNUT BREAD

Want to enjoy warm, freshly baked bread in easy, simple steps? Now you can! Just add ¼ cup oil, ½ teaspoon vanilla, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup honey, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, and 2 ripe bananas (mashed) to a 212-gram pack buttermilk biscuit mix (we used Bisquick Buttermilk Biscuit Mix) and mix well. Pour mixture into a lightly greased loan pan and bake at 350^oF for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Cool, slice, and serve. Makes 5 small loaves.

NUTTY BROWNIE BARS

Here’s a delicious and decadent brownie recipe that’s crunchy and creamy too! Prepare 230-gram pack brownie mix (we used Maya Oven Toaster Brownie Mix) according to package directions. Mix in 2/3 cup cashew nuts. Bake at 350^oF for 20 minutes or until done. Cool slightly. Spread Nutella on top and sprinkle with cashew nuts. Makes 8 bars.

HAM AND CHEESE WAFFLEWICH

Want something new for breakfast? Prepare a 230-gram pack pancake mix (we used Magnolia Pancake Plus Mix) according to package directions. Pour mixture into a lightly greased waffle maker and cook until golden brown. Place a slice of ham and cheese in between two waffles and serve with your favorite spread. Voila, breakfast is served. Serves 2.
